I found this song by Dido today when accidentally hit play all (all 14000 songs…). I like the hell out of it. Very chill and the lyrics are really gentle and sweet. I may or may not already have the play count up to 20. Whatever.
After far too much hassle (that I’ll probably attempt again on Wednesday) I put the factory deck back in my car. This annoying little voice in my head keeps pinging me about the fact that I’m getting older because I don’t care about hooking up my amp and subs. However the lack of really being able to set an equalizer curve sort of kills me. Thusly I’ll be dicking with the old Pioneer Premier again on Wednesday if my Dad will put up with it. (Me + PCBs and soldering != good) Still…even the factory deck is better than the piece of shit DVD player I had in there that no matter how you ground it out wouldn’t play DVDs while in park or drive…truly worthless. Yeah.
In a typical Mondo Monday fashion the Loft played Reefer Madness. It was in celebration of 420. It was really amusing. All the immoral behavior they discuss sorta just looks like a good Thursday night to me. I mean really…they giggle, dance and make out. What is so wrong with that again? I also enjoyed them playing some anti-drug video song compilation from the 80’s with Whitney Houston as one of the singers. Just say no kids…You should also say no to being a smelly hippie. Especially on that sits directly in front of me in a movie theater and literally makes me gag with your stench. You smelly hippie sir, are the suck and should be sentenced to hourly bathing until your goddamn dreadlocks fall off.
Off to relive my childhood and play Pipe Dream until I pass out.
